Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Last updated: 2026-04-27
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the Service operated by Thrones AI Limited. It is part of the Terms of Service. Breach of the AUP may result in suspension or termination of account access and, where appropriate, referral of information to law enforcement or regulators.
The English version of this document is the legally binding version. In case of any discrepancy between translations, the English text prevails.
1. General principles
You must use the Service lawfully, in good faith and in compliance with: applicable law (including the laws of the countries where your end users reside); the terms of any third-party platforms you connect (WhatsApp/Meta, Telegram, Google, Twilio, Stripe and others); and Thrones' reasonable instructions.
2. Prohibited content and uses
You will not use the Service — and will not allow your AI agents, operators or affiliates to use it — for:
- Unlawful activity or its facilitation.
- Fraud, deception, phishing, impersonation of any person, company or public authority.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, incitement to violence, or material targeting persons or groups based on protected characteristics.
- Child sexual material; any exploitation of or threat to children; any communication with children that does not comply with applicable child protection law (including parental consent).
- Non-consensual intimate imagery; doxing; material infringing privacy or publicity rights.
- Infringement of intellectual property rights, including misuse of trade marks, copyrighted material or trade secrets.
- Regulated advice (medical, legal, financial, psychological and similar) without appropriate professional oversight, licensing and disclaimers; holding out an AI agent as a licensed professional when it is not.
- Malware, viruses and the like; credential stuffing; account takeover; distribution of tools for such purposes.
- Mass unsolicited messaging (spam) and any messaging that breaches anti-spam law or third-party platform rules.
- Actions in breach of sanctions and export control law, including use of the Service on behalf of or for the benefit of sanctioned persons or in sanctioned jurisdictions where prohibited by UK or applicable law.
3. Platform security and integrity
You will not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, Sub-processors, other customers' data or the underlying infrastructure.
- Test or scan the Service for vulnerabilities without prior written consent.
- Circumvent security measures, rate limits or access controls.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Use the Service to build a competing product or to benchmark without prior written consent.
- Perform automated bulk actions exceeding published limits, or otherwise destabilise the Service.
4. Messaging practices
When sending messages through the Service, you must:
- Have a legal basis to contact each end user (for example, prior consent or an exemption).
- Promptly honour 'unsubscribe', 'stop' and similar requests in line with applicable law and platform rules.
- Clearly identify yourself (the sending business) without misrepresenting your identity.
- Disclose the fact of interacting with an AI system where required by law or reasonably expected.
- Comply with template approval, opt-in and messaging window rules (for example, the 24-hour WhatsApp service window and template categories).
5. Data protection and end users
You are the controller of your end users' personal data. You must:
- Provide end users with a clear, current privacy notice describing the use of AI and Thrones' role as processor.
- Have and maintain a legal basis for processing.
- Respond to data subject requests within the applicable time limits.
- Not upload, store or transmit to the Service special categories of data or other highly sensitive data (health, biometric, financial account, government identifiers) without appropriate additional safeguards and a legal basis.
6. Complaints and enforcement
If you discover a breach of the AUP affecting use of the Service, notify us at support@thrones.ai. We may investigate suspected breaches and, where necessary, take action without prior notice: suspend or terminate access, remove content, report to third-party platforms or authorities, and preserve data in accordance with law.
